My sewing skills were put to the test once again and this is what we came up with. I wish I was a better seamstress. I feel like the fairies in Sleeping Beauty when they try to make Aurora's dress without magic.

But, I was able to piece together the coat, wig, frilly collar and boots. I could have used a little fairy magic with the coat, but if you don't look too close, it's not half bad. :)

Now for the true test... Who Am I?? Post your answers and we'll see if all my effort was worth it! (No pressure, it's just my fragile self-esteem at stake)

Hmm, George Washington or Ben Franklin?
George Washington was a very good man, a very good man indeed... I pick Washington. (But I THINK I am right because when you make the pic bigger, it's titled Washington...) Maybe that was just a tricky tactic. We'll see!!!
what was that, two bags of cotton balls? It's got to be...GW!! You go girl. Is there anything you can't do?
My guesses were the same is Janssen's. I think you did AWESOME!
Washington and that wig is freakin' awesome. I am totally impressed.
What a handsome little George Washington?! You are so creative. Are those full boots?
Isaac, your mother has made you into a handsome George Washington. You are related to George Washington. His mother is Mary Ball and we are related to Mary. Have a great time as GW. Love, Grandma Sant
I definitely vote Washington. And if it makes you feel any better, that's much better than my sewing skills. I'm pretty sure I could not have put that together myself. Great job! :)
I'm guessing George Washington too...and not just because everyone else did. I guessed that before I saw the comments. Great job!
oh..oh...is he the lady who made the american flag! :)
Great job!
WOW - you did a great job Marie, GW for sure! It looks like he may have a costume for Halloween this year??
